Regali di compleanno/Birthday Presents

Settimana scorsa due mie amiche hanno festeggiato il loro compleanno. Ecco cos'è uscito dalla mia macchina da cucire per loro:

Sportina ricamata a punto margherita, il colore originale è quello della foto successiva.

A totebag. The bottom is embroidered with daisy stitch (or detached chain stitch? what is the right name?). The original color is in the next photo.

Due americani con i rispettivi tovaglioli. Ricamo a punto filza per forchetta, coltello, cucchiaio, bicchiere e piatto. Così non ci si sbaglia ad apparecchiare, ihihihih!
Stoffe tutte IKEA.

Two place mats with their napkins. Running stitch for: fork, knife, spoon, glass and dish. Just follow the drawings, you will not be mistaken when you set the table.

Inizialmente non avevano capito che erano stati fatti a mano, pensavano li avessi comprati. Quando l'hanno saputo sono rimaste a bocca aperta, e anche i maschietti hanno fatto i complimenti...E vaiiiiii!

At the beginning they didn't realize that I had sew the presents. They thought I've bought them. I leaved them open-mouthed, and I received a lots of compliments when I told them they came out of my sewing machine.

borsa per la maglia / knitting bag

Per salvare il proprio lavoro a maglia dalle unghiette affilate della Zoe, cosa occorre? Ma una borsa, no? Capiente, con una cerniera e tante taschine funzionali. E chissà che adesso non mi decida a finire quella sciarpa!

To save my knitted works from Zoe's claws what I need is a knitting bag, obviously! Very big, with a zipper and a lot of pockets. Maybe I can finally finish my scarf!

Velluto / Velvet

Una piccola borsa per una cena galante. Talmente piccola che può contenere al massimo il cellulare, le chiavi di casa, il rossetto e i fazzoletti di carta. Niente portamonete! Così il vostro accompagnatore sarà costretto ad offrirvi la cena...ih, ih, ih!!!

A little hand-bag for a gallant dinner. A very little hand-bag that can carry only: cell-phone, house key, lipstick and tissues. No coin purse! So your escort will be forced in offering dinner...ih, ih, ih!!!

Borsetta in tulle / Tulle handbag

Dopo settimane di latitanza rieccomi! Ma quante persone sono passate di qua? 117 visite?!? Caspita!
Ultima creazione: borsetta in cotone avvolta da del tulle. La trovo adatta per serate danzanti e molto sofisticata, i due fiocchetti poi, la rendono molto simpatica.

p.s. ho cambiato il titolo del blog, questo mi sembra più adatto :)



After week of absence here I am again! How many visitors passed here? 117 visits? Wow!
My last creation: cotton handbag wrapped up by tulle. I think it's suitable for dancing evening and it is very sophisticated. With two bowes it look nice.

Borsa con galline / Tote with hens

La prima borsa in assoluto che ho cucito. Mi ricorda la campagna, la primavera e le galline che aveva mia nonna quando ero piccola (e che trattavo come dei cagnolini :-P).

Le galline sono applicate a punto filza, le zampe sono ricamate e gli occhi sono stati fatti con il punto nodini.

My first tote that I have ever sewed. It remind me of: country, spring and my paternal grandmother's hens when I was a child (I used to tret them like doggies :-P).

Hens are trimmed with running stich, claws are embroidered and eyes has been made with French knot.

Ecco qua la mia prima borsetta. Ho impiegato 9 ore per terminarla, ma ne sono davvero soddisfatta!

Here it is my first handbag. It took me 9 hours to sew it, but I'm very satisfied!
